Antifouling, copper oxide-based
Self-polishing, copper oxide-based anti-fouling paint. Can be painted over most anti-fouling paints on the market, both hard and self-polishing. NOTE! Not for use on Teflon coating. Contains copper and therefore cannot be painted onto aluminium drive shafts and propellers.
Existing paintwork in poor condition, or flaky and uneven, and thick residual layers of old paint must be sanded down before applying the anti-fouling paint. If required, first apply a barrier or adhesive coat using sealer. Existing paintwork in good condition should be lightly sanded before applying the anti-fouling paint. If the type of paint used in the existing paintwork is not known, it must be removed. Alternatively, apply a layer of sealer before applying the anti-fouling paint. Apply two coats to exposed areas of the boat – waterline, rudders, prow. For cleaning and when dilution is necessary, use Thinner No. 2. Bare plastic must be coated with anti-pest epoxy primer. When painting onto epoxy primer, the surface of the primer should be slightly sticky for best adhesion. Epoxy filler must be used on uneven and damaged areas.

Dust dry: 2 h. Next coat after: 16 h. Launch: min. 24 h/ max. 30 days.
Temperature 20 °C:
Dust dry: 1 h. Next coat after: 6 h. Launch: min.12 h/max. 30 days.
Temperature 30 °C:
Dust dry: 0.5 h. Next coat after: 4 h. Launch: min. 8 h/ max. 30 days.
If the maximum launching time is exceeded, light sanding should be performed prior to launching or any further painting.
