Employee in a Biltema warehouse by shelves with picture frames and products.

´At Biltema, you get plenty of opportunities to show who you are and what you can do.´

What has been the most positive surprise for you since you started at Biltema?

I’ve developed a lot, both personally and professionally. I’ve become more open with my colleagues and customers, and I’ve gained a better understanding of my professional capabilities and the level of responsibility I can take on.

I’ve also built a close bond with my colleagues, which makes work more positive and makes it great to come to work.

What’s the best thing about working at Biltema?

You build close relationships with your colleagues, which makes it both easier and more fun to go to work every day.

At Biltema, you get plenty of opportunities to show who you are and what you can do. You can take on a lot of responsibility if you want to, and there are good opportunities to develop and progress within the organization.

I’ve had responsibilities myself that I’ve really enjoyed, and I still have lots of exciting tasks and a really good team of colleagues.

As a second-year trainee, I have found that Biltema is a training organization that places a strong emphasis on its trainees and their development – both personally and professionally – so that they become even more skilled in their work.

What qualities are important for a Biltema employee?

As a Biltema employee, it is important to have a good connection with your colleagues, as you work closely with your Area Manager (OA), deputy manager, store manager and other colleagues.

It is also an advantage to have a good overview of the departments you are part of, as this makes the work easier and more manageable. Furthermore, it is important to be enthusiastic and bring positive energy to the role.

How do you contribute to making Biltema the warehouse for the whole family?

I’m very active in taking part in the various events that Biltema organizes throughout the year. Here, we sometimes arrange competitions and fun activities for the whole family.

I’m also a big fan of creating inspiring environments in the store that appeal to all ages – this can be anything from outdoor play areas and planting to creative activities and Christmas displays.

I’ve also been in the news a few times to promote Biltema and our warehouse. This has been, for example, in connection with the ‘prepping’ trend that was in the media, as well as during the winter months when we’ve sold lots of snow shovels and sledges.
