Flashing lights

Warning lights and strobe lights may only be used in specific situations, when your vehicle is driven or parked in a way that may pose a danger in traffic. For example, roadworks, towing, when the width of your vehicle exceeds three metres, or at the scene of an accident. 

Why you should have strobe lights and warning lights 

The purpose of having strobe lights and warning lights on your vehicle is to make other road users aware. The lights also make your vehicle clearly visible in the dark and are an important safety feature on your vehicle when parking to work at roadworks, when towing, or at the scene of an accident, for example.  

LEDs in strobe lights and warning lights 

The LED in the strobe lights and warning lights is much more durable and therefore copes with the fast flashing and many hours of burn-time. Warning lights on your vehicle must be E-approved and there are regulations on they may be placed on your vehicle.

How do I mount warning lights? 

Many of our warning lights come with a suction cup or screw for mounting. For more information, refer to each model and its manual. It is important to comply with local regulations when fitting a light. 

What colour may I use? 

The colours permitted for use differ by region, and this must therefore always be checked before use. At Biltema, we sell orange lights.
