Anchor your boat with the right equipment
When it's time to anchor your boat, ensure you have a sufficiently heavy anchor in relation to the boat's weight. A few metres of chain closest to the anchor can help it stay down. If you want to moor near an islet or skerry, it's a good idea to take along rock anchors and extra lines to secure the mooring. In cases of smaller boats a drag anchor may suffice. Ship ahoy, anchors away!
